1. Introduction

We are Five9 Systems, LLC and our website address is www.five9systems.com. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please Contact Us.

2. Information Collected

2a. Comments

When visitors leave comments on our site we collect the data shown in the comments form, their IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. Visitor comments may also be checked through an automated spam detection service.

2b. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

2c. Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

2d. Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

3. Sharing of Your Data

We do not share or sell your personal data with anyone outside of our organization.

4. How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

5. Rights to Your Data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

6. Child Privacy

Our website is not intended for use by children under 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose Personal Data from children under 18. If you believe that we have collected, used or disclosed Personal Data of a child under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), please Contact Us so that we may take appropriate action.

7. Google Integration

7a. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to record information about the pages a user has seen, for example the URL of the page, time of day, device used, etc. The information that we collect is anonymized and sent to Google Analytics. Google Analytics mainly uses first-party cookies to report on visitor interactions on this website. Users may disable cookies or delete any individual cookie from your browser settings tab. Google Analytics also collects Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to provide and protect the security of the service, and to give website owners a sense of which country, state, or city in the world their users come from (also known as “IP geolocation”). See this page for Google Analytics data security and privacy information.

7b. Google reCAPTCHA v3

We also leverage Google reCAPTCHA v3 which helps us detect abusive traffic on our website without user interaction. Instead of showing a CAPTCHA challenge, reCAPTCHA v3 returns a score that helps us identify and take appropriate action. The Google Privacy policy is available here.

8. Modifications to This Policy

We reserve the right to adjust our privacy policy at any time and will provide notification of those changes on this page as well as a notice posted on our main page for a reasonable amount of time.
